Intriguingly, Infinitives Unsplit is written by a chap styling himself "The Pedant-General," although I don't think he means this in the way Oliver does.

I couldn't possibly comment on Oliver's views, given my limited - oh ok, non-existent - knowledge of campanology. (I was once taught Maths by a charming bell-ringer, though.)
Otherwise delighted to be placed under the category "science" on your blogroll and to be placed there by none other than a student of Engineering as well. It takes one to know one, if you are at the "other place".

You might be intrigued to know that you were listed under "medical" until I had a reshuffle last night. The category had grown somewhat and was getting a bit blurred around the edges!
